We are looking for a skilled Local Information Security Officer for our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Libin, Belgium.
In this role, you will report to the Site Manager whilst working in close collaboration with the Operations Director of Nexova Cyber. You will work alongside different stakeholders such as the CISO, Security guards, and security representative of the Starion Group (Nexova sister company) and Nexova in the regions.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
- Developing, maintaining and implementing all the security documentation required in collaboration with Operations Director.
- Developing, implementing and controlling the access rights (badge and biometric systems) for all staff and visitors, including the different security zones.
- Implementing and exercising the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and all related activities including facility clearance, asset management, inspections and monitoring.
- Maintaining the accreditation files for the physical and CIS environment.
- Serving as main point of contact on behalf of the Global Corporate Security Office for any security related matters.
- Participating in the ISO27001 and NIS2 implementation.
- Develop relationships with cybersecurity-related authorities and communities.
- Monitoring the handling and control of Classified documents and media.
- Performing security tasks related to the building and its assets.
- Support the facility management activities such as building management, coordinating with the providers on any operational issue etc.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:.
- Ideally you come from a military or defence background already performing similar taks.
- Proven experience corporate security procedures, policies and execution.
- Professional experience with security aspects of CIS systems, preferably for processing of classified information.
- Professional experience in handling classified material within a national or international environment.
- Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measure.
- Experience in writing of technical documentations such as policy, procedure, guidelines etc.
- Good knowledge of ISO27001 and aware of NIS2 directive.
- Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
- Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
- Able to work on site in our office and capable to handle to be available for any emergency or security incidents.
- Good command of written and spoken English with Dutch or French as an asset.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken. Dutch or French are an asset.
